Who is eligible?

Aurora Township residents, 60 years of age or older or those who are disabled, may qualify for Ride in Kane services as an Aurora Township client.

Aurora Township residents may call 630-892-1999 to determine if the eligibility criteria is met and to register for the program. The registration process takes a minimum of 7 to 10 days to complete so service in not immediately available.
What is the cost to use Ride in Kane?
Most Ride in Kane trips cost the passenger $3.00 one-way for the first 10 miles and $1.50 per additional mile, so the fare depends on the distance traveled.
What are the pick-up and destination points?
Once you are fully registered for Ride in Kane, rides may be scheduled within Kane County and the surrounding area by calling the call center 1 to 7 days in advance.
